Calamvale – ‘College of Choice’
Calamvale is not only a College that prides itself on its academic achievements, but also on the multitude of extra-curricular opportunities that exist for students to be engaged with.
Consistently, Calamvale Community College has had strong involvement in sport, the arts, aero skills and the community. Many more are added regularly, including Hospitality, student leadership and vocational opportunities.

Camps and Excursions – Universities, sports, Parliament House, Canberra trip in Year 6, QPAC, art galleries, air shows, international study tours
Councils and Clubs – student council, chess, Leo’s
Musicals, Teams and Performances - cheerleading, musicals and drama performances, guest artist incursions, mountain biking
Competitions – ICAS, subject specific and nation-wide competitions, DaVinci Decathlon, Lions Youth of the Year Public Speaking, Reader’s Cup, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
Functions and Events – Book Fair and Book Week, NAIDOC, external fundraisers, Running CEOs, Kokoda Campaign, Multicultural Festival, Sofitel and State of Origin catering, Mother and Father’s Day morning teas
