Welcome to Calamvale Community College – a highly regarded P-12 College in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. Founded in 2002, the school has grown to an enrolment of over 2600 students at the commencement of 2026.
Calamvale Community College is nestled in the education corner of Calamvale, surrounded by early learning centres, Calamvale C&K, feeder primary schools and Calamvale Special School We are very much a part of our community, this encourages our young people to actively engage and contribute through opportunities to learn and work in the local area.
Calamvale enjoys a strong reputation for opportunities for student engagement through excellence programs – academic and sporting - as well as through the strong extra-curricular and co-curricular programmes we offer P-12. We have outstanding staff who have partnered with families to positively impact the lives of our students over the years.
The school delivers curriculum opportunities to engage all learners. The Prep to Year 6 Australian Curriculum delivery is through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) with the PYP Exhibition being the culminating activity for the junior school years of learning. The secondary school delivers the Australian Curriculum with an increasing focus on individual pathways to success for all students as they move through years 7 -12.
Calamvale CC offers opportunities for tertiary, academic, training and vocational learning in the senior secondary phase, ensuring every student has a clear pathway for their future and is supported to maximise success. Opportunities in excellence programmes includes the Apex Scholars and the Apex Programme – supporting academic excellence as well as the Athlete Development Program (ADP) – supporting sporting excellence across a range of sports.
