Guidance Officers are experienced teachers who in addition to their teacher training also possess professional qualifications
that includes advanced skills and knowledge in the area of psycho-educational assessment, intervention and advanced knowledge and skills in career education and counselling. Calamvale Community College’s Guidance Officers are located in the Student Services building during normal school hours.
They are Nerieda Anderson (Prep – Year 6). Referrals can be made at the school’s Special Needs and Welfare Meetings through the Classroom Teachers, Heads of Curriculum or Principals.
Sarah Strubican and Adam Williams (Years 7 – 12). Referrals can be made through Deans and Deputy Principals.
