Parent Teacher Interviews

At Calamvale Community College, we believe that regular contact with parents/guardians is paramount in building partnerships that will lead to improving the learning outcomes of all our students.

 

Due to delayed start to school in 2022, in Term 2 Week 2 (week beginning Tuesday 26 April), you will have the opportunity to meet with your classroom teacher/s for a 15-minute interview. It is our intention that you have walked away from this interview with a clear picture of your child's progress, achievement, and direction for the future. 

  

In Term 3, we will further extend these face-to-face interviews and invite your student to be an active participant in this process.  As in 2021, at the Term 3 student-led conference your child will take a greater role in leading the discussion about their learning and showcasing some learning activities they have participated in during the year.  

 

For the Term 2 Week 2 Parent / Teacher Oral Reporting interviews, we will continue with the online booking system, allowing parents / caregivers to select times that are convenient. Should you wish to meet with your child's Specialist Teacher or a SWD (Student with a Disability) or EALD (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) Teacher, please communicate via the College organiser or with the Class Teacher via Seesaw.

 

Bookings are open from Friday 1 April 2022 at 4.00pm and will close on Thursday 21 April 2022 at 5:00pm. If you do not have access to the internet, or need support to book an interview time please contact Mel Bear on 37126333 or mbear41@eq.edu.au from Tuesday 19 April.

 

Appoints are available by booking online.
